Common considerations for applying for a Saber certificate

1. After determining the Saudi customs code of the product, confirm with the certification agent or organization whether the product needs QM certification, GCC certification, IECEE certification, energy efficiency and water efficiency certification.

2. Since the product model must be reflected on the certificate, the product model naming method should be common.

3. For textile applications for saber, the content language on the label can be English but Arabic must be added. The label information includes 1) trademark, 2) product name, 3) model, 4) product specification, and 5) origin; for shoes and related product labels, they need to be placed on the shoe box packaging and shoe hanging tags. The marking information includes 1) trademark, 2) size (shoe size), 3) origin, and the language needs to be Arabic or English and Arabic; the mechanical equipment label needs to add the manufacturer's name, and other information is the same as textiles.

4. Product photo requirements: When providing product photos, at least 3 or more pictures are required, including the front, back or side of the product and photos containing labels.

5. Test report requirements: Product test reports generally only accept reports issued in accordance with SASO/IEC/EN/ASTM standards. For example, Chinese test reports issued in accordance with GB national standards are not accepted.
